Multi-room audio refers to the distribution of audio signals to multiple rooms or locations within home. It enables users to stream audio content from a single or multiple sources to multiple speakers or audio systems throughout the home.

There are several ways to achieve multi-room audio, including using a central amplifier or audio matrix switch. A central amplifier enables multiple speakers to be connected to it and controlled by a single device. An audio matrix switch allows multiple sources to be connected to multiple audio systems, with the ability to switch between them as needed.
